Michelle Fengler
My name is Michelle Fengler, and I’m a 23-year-old who started her internship at Panteia in September 2023, within the Society & Economy department. I study International and European Law at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. As part of my study program, I must complete an internship to put the theoretical knowledge learned into practice. However, the internship has now shifted to a pleasant opportunity rather than merely a requirement.
Day-to-day tasks here are quite dynamic; we’re involved in simultaneous projects with different focuses. My role includes contributing to, gathering, and interpreting data for such projects, as well as assisting in the preparation of reports and supporting senior researchers. While writing assignments for uni, digging into the research part was something I really enjoyed. However, my experience here at Panteia has been eye-opening, making me realize that I genuinely want to pursue research as a full-time career.
What I find most fulfilling about being an intern at Panteia is the continuous learning opportunities thanks to the diverse projects undertaken. I love learning so much, and here, every day with all the projects, you gain valuable insight! The collaborative and supportive team environment fosters both personal and professional growth, making this experience transformative.
Working at Panteia provides a meaningful opportunity to contribute to societal progress because of all the cutting-edge topics you touch upon. Now, I have to conduct research for Panteia as a client, and I’m positive about meeting their report standards. I’m eager to keep learning and growing professionally, all while building a solid network.
